Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are these programmes suited to?

The Statistical Foundations programme is addressed to learners who have some prior exposure to programming and who wish to build stronger quantitative reasoning. The Reproducible Practice short programme is suited to learners already doing applied work. The Seminar Series is open to those who have completed foundational study in machine learning and want to engage with recent directions more carefully.

How are sessions delivered?

All programmes are delivered online. Weekly sessions combine short readings circulated in advance, worked exercises or discussion, and written feedback from the mentor. We keep enrolment small so that each learner's work receives proper attention.

What is the time commitment each week?

Learners should expect to spend roughly four to six hours per week on readings, exercises, and the weekly session. The pace is measured by design — the programmes are not suited to those who need to complete them under pressure.

Can I request a sample syllabus before deciding?

Yes. Any prospective learner is welcome to request a sample syllabus and reading list before deciding whether to proceed. Use the enquiry form below and mention which programme you are considering.

Are fees refundable if I withdraw early?

Our terms set out the conditions for withdrawal. In general, a partial refund is available if notice is given before the third week of the programme. We encourage any learner with concerns to speak with us early, as there may be other arrangements that suit both parties.

Is a certificate awarded on completion?

Learners who complete all written work for a programme receive a letter of completion from Quanta Mind. The Seminar Series is not designed as a credential pathway — it is intended as a space for careful reading and discussion, and is described that way in all our materials.
